The Vampire In Europe (Montague Summers, 1929)

£0.00

Montague Summers (1880- 1948), was a clergyman, writer, teacher and Oxford University graduate, (fourth-class BA, in Theology). He published several books on English drama, the Restoration & also the occult. In fact, he is regarded as one of the most important writers in the field. Summers, was considered ‘eccentric’ but was a well-known face on the London social scene.

The book featured is a 1929 (first edition, Paul Kegan) of his seminal study of vampirism.

I also have other books written by Summers, including: The History of Witchcraft and Demonology, Witchcraft and Black Magic & The Supernatural Omnibus.
