First published in Australia (hence the magazine's name!), in 1963, Oz magazine appeared in the UK in 1967 (ceasing publication in 1973), and alongside the ‘International Times’ became an important forum for new writing, art & social commentary and gave expression to the emerging late 1960s underground and counter-culture scene.
At times controversial (School Kids Issue), provocative and anti- establishment, Oz magazine is considered one of the most important examples of counter-culture journalism to emerge in the late 1960s to early 1970s.
A fantastic selection of Oz to choose from. Pop in the shop to have a browse or contact Jim for more details.
